Cultural Organizations
One of our goals at Council on Aging has always been helping ensure that the needs of the under-served in our community are met and that these residents have a voice. For over four decades, COA has been forging mutually beneficial relationships with cultural organizations in our community to:

• Bring needed services to individuals who may otherwise be missed or neglected

• Help provide additional support for the efforts of existing organizations serving specific ethnic and cultural groups.

• Work to make sure Seniors of all ethnicities have a voice in our community.

Faith-Based Organizations
One of the most important elements in overall well-being is spiritual faith. In addition, some of the greatest means for support available to Seniors are through the churches, synagogues, and other faith-based organizations in our community. For this reason, COA is honored to work with these organizations to:

• Bring economy of scale to churches, synagogues and other organizations looking to better serve our Senior population.

• Help area Seniors find the spiritual support and counseling they need.

• Encourage the sense of community and strength only found through spiritual belief and nourishment.

Civic Organizations
In keeping with our goal of reaching the under-served in our community, COA is proud to work with a number of organizations serving veterans, firefighters, law enforcement, and others to reach and care for our aging population. We partner with these organizations to:

• Spread awareness of available services to under-served groups like veterans.

• Share facilities and improve convenience to Senior members.

• Provide additional support and benefits to programs started and operated by these organizations.
