About COA

Council on Aging of Volusia County, Inc. (COA) is the only local non-profit focused exclusively on assisting Volusia County’s senior population, the fastest growing age group in our area.  COA relies on federal, state, and local governmental agency support to provide subsidized services for the elderly, disabled, and needy in Volusia County. Federal and State agencies require COA to raise matching funds from local sources, including the general public.

COA operates several congregate dining facilities throughout Volusia County, as well as senior centers in Deltona, Orange City, Ormond Beach and New Smyrna Beach. COA will continue to provide quality services to meet the needs of senior citizens and their families through an active partnership of public and private enterprises.  We offer no-cost and low-cost services for those who qualify, as well as private pay services.
