The 7th Judicial Circuit Court appoints COA guardians as surrogate decision makers for vulnerable seniors when friends for family members are not available. Professional guardians deliver peace of mind by looking after those no longer able to handle their own affairs. We manage our clients’ social, psychological, direct service, health, housing/property, financial, and personal needs.
Private guardianship or durable power of attorney is available for private-pay at an hourly rate and can be arranged by individuals long before they or a loved one becomes unable to take care of their own affairs.
Respite Care is available Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Half-days are available from either 9:00 a.m. until Noon or Noon until 3:00 p.m. Support Groups meet monthly for one hour.
An in-person meeting is required prior to admission. The program is free for those who qualify, or fees can be paid privately.
